1.) Prepare your logo (Profile Picture) and cover page picture for Facebook

Adding your logo:

Your logo must be resized to 180 X 180 before downloading to Facebook using picture editing software. Even Microsoft Paint or Picture Manager MAY work in a pinch, but there are many good free picture editing software packages available.

Adding your cover page picture:

Your cover page picture must be resized to 851 X 315 using picture editing software before downloading to Facebook.

To get the fastest load times for your Page, upload a JPG file that's 851 pixels wide, 315 pixels tall and less than 100 kilobytes. For images with your logo or text-based content, you may get a higher quality result by using a PNG file.

Be aware of the automatic placement of the Logo over the cover page picture according to the following template. It shows the actual spacing and helps you make sure that your logo does not cover up an important area of your cover page picture.

Once you have prepared the cover picture and the logo it is time to begin.
